About the Job
Inn-Flow is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures within the Snowflake cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts, hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, and proficiency with SQL Server to deliver scalable data solutions for business analytics and reporting.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
- Optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
- Write complex, efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including SQL Server, into Snowflake.
- Integrate Snowflake with Azure cloud services, SQL Server, and third-party tools.
- Implement data governance, security, and access control policies within Snowflake (e.g., role-based access, data masking).
- Collaborate with other data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Stay updated on Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server best practices to drive continuous improvement.
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 3 years focused on Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, data transformation, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake features.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for building and managing data pipelines.
- Experience with SQL Server for querying and integration.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and their integration with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) for automation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
