Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Product will be responsible for defining and implementing Inn-Flow’s product vision and go-to-market strategy. As a key member on the executive leadership team, this person will help develop high-impact, cross-functional roadmaps focused on building transformative products. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, self-motivated, and driven with a proven track record of success in providing product leadership throughout the organization.

The VP of Product will:

  • Develop a compelling and innovative product vision that aligns with the company’s overall strategy and goals.​
  • Own roadmap development and execution across the entire product lifecycle – from ideation through post-launch engagement – with clear prioritization around business impact, activation, and usage that drives growth and market differentiation. ​
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring all product development and strategy align with user needs and feedback to drive satisfaction and loyalty.​
  • Build an agile product organization that balances innovation and speed to address the needs of different kinds of Inn-Flow customers.​
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing product organization by assessing talent, mentoring, and retaining top performers.​
  • Foster a strong, collaborative partnership with the CTO and engineering team to ensure the product organization is building the right solutions with speed, efficiency, and a high-quality bar.​
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish processes to track the success and impact of the product and the team, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.​
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and CX to think creatively about pricing, packaging, and expansion strategies and to drive product activation and adoption. ​
  • Play a strategic role in the M&A strategy for leading and evaluating product integrations. ​
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Staying attuned to AI developments and strategically integrating AI into the roadmap to drive efficiency and differentiation is critical. ​​

Qualifications:

  • Growth-stage software experience at scale, preferably as the #1 leader in Product.​
  • Player/coach: Able to operate hands-on and tactically while also being strategic and forward-looking.​
  • Experience managing a product suite: Skilled at driving strategy and execution across multiple products.​
  • Ability to build, mentor, and retain a strong team.​
  • AI-forward: Understands and applies AI capabilities to enhance product strategy, customer value, and differentiation.​
  • Has successfully launched and scaled products with real revenue and customer impact.​
  • Business-minded: Commercially savvy; connects product to business outcomes.​
  • Technically savvy and able to work collaboratively with the engineering team to bring new products to market.​
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to align people on corporate goals, product strategy, and KPIs.​
  • M&A integration experience and sophistication, nice to have.​
  • Vertical b2b SaaS experience, ideally in fintech or hospitality, nice to have.​
  • Experience working with private equity or venture capital is nice to have.​
  • Located in (or willing to relocate to) North Carolina, strong preference.​
